Medical Careers

We left the Roxiticus Valley today for a visit to Westchester to see Brent and Fitz's new house. The weather was nice for a drive, and on the way up we took the scenic route over Bear Mountain. For lunch, Brent cooked several southern specialties, including shrimp & sausage over grits. If I can get him to give me the recipe, I'll have to post it to my upcoming Rex's Recipes blog. On the way home, we took the "town and country route," through Ossining, Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown. The girls were on the lookout for the Headless Horseman in Sleepy Hollow, but all we saw was an ultrasound technician school along the way.

We made it home in time to see the last half of the Kansas-Davidson game. I had been expecting it to be a blowout....Kansas has been playing well, and while Davidson is a highly academic small liberal arts college, it's not really much bigger than the ultrasound tech school we passed on Route 287. Rex tells me that Davidson plays in Division III in all of its other sports, so it is unusual that they were able to attract a player like Stephen Curry, whose dad played pro ball.

I missed the first half driving home, but apparently Davidson led for most of the first half, and Kansas was in the middle of a 7-2 run to take the lead when I turned the TV on. Great basketball for the rest of the game, with Kansas squeaking out a 59-57 victory....only devastating that Curry did not take the last shot of the game. If he had, the outcome could have been dramatically different. Maybe it's better this way, since I picked Kansas to make it to the Final Four in my less-than-perfect bracket, and even though I missed out on the $5 million from Yahoo! I still have a shot at a thousand bucks in my friend's office pool.

The consolation for Davidson is that we were all impressed that they got this far, and that Stephen Curry is just a sophomore and plans to return for his junior season. Curry may be hitting NBA 3-pointers, but at least for now, he's not going pro....neither as an NBA player nor an ultrasound technologist. We'll hope Cinderella returns to the dance next year.

10. Post in Asian social networking websites or forums. Some webmasters have suggested that East Asian web users are big Alexa toolbar fans, judging by the presence of several Asia-based websites in the Alexa Top 500. I suggest trying this only if you have the time or capacity to do so.
11. Create a webmaster tools section on your website. This is a magnet for webmasters who will often revisit your website to gain access to the tools. Aaron Wall’s webpage on SEOTools is a very good example.

Use visually attractive pictures or banners and link them to your redirected Alexa URL. This will be most effective if your website has content that is actually relevant to the MySpace Crowd.
20. Try Alexa auto-surfs. Do they work? Maybe for brand new sites. I think they are mostly suitable for new websites with a very poor Alexa rank. Note that there be problems when you try to use auto surfs alongside contextual ads like Adsense. They aren’t also long term solutions to improving your Alexa Rank so I suggest using with caution.

Ajay Jadeja

Ajay belongs to the Royal family of Nawabnagar in Gujurat now known as Jamnagar. Ajay is a descendent of Duleep Singh and Ranjith Singh after whom the Ranjhi Trophy is named. Royalty runs in his blood in the form of passion for cricket. His royal background comes from his father side ,while his mother is a Malyalee from Allepey District in Kerala. Pluto

Do u know that Pluto’s name begins with the letters “P” and “L” to honor Boston astronomer Percival Lowell, who inaugurated the search that led to Pluto’s discovery. Unfortunately, Lowell did not live to see Pluto’s discovery, which was made by Clyde Tombaugh at Lowell Observatory in 1930.

India's Victory in Australia's Ground

Have you seen the exciting and thrilling match between Australia and India?
Sure no one would have missed it!! I left all my works and made me free for this awesome match. When we started this tri-series with Australia rain stopped play and i have no hope that India will make off to finals. In between we met with some failures but still our young team have broken through the huddles and reached the top. I always feel very happy when our team enters the finals and win a match against Australia. This is the second finals where our heros proves to be Indians.

What i thought previously was that it was their home ground and australians will be very strong there, but we defeated australia with a powerful fight back given by Praveen Kumar. He was declared the Man Of The Match. Australians insulted Harbhajan Singh a lot and now a single victory made australians to realize their mistake. By this match Adam Gillchrist is out of the game. He announced his retirement from test matches and now one day too. I would like to say the only gentle man of Australian team is Gilli. Lets give him a great send off.

Indians are now the real champions and we ll soon expect our team at the top of the ranking.
